Women to Watch Cranfield

Brand expert Allyson Stewart-Allen, founder and CEO of global consultancy International Marketing Partners, has been included in the “100 Women to Watch” list* published today by Cranfield, the top UK management school, which showcases some of the talented senior women leaders who are in the pipeline for future  FTSE board positions.

Allyson, whose moniker is The Muse of Marketing, has advised multi-nationals including Grosvenor Estates, Coach and Burberry, as well as many professional services businesses.  Her work has helped them boost their overseas sales through insights and deeper understanding of their local business cultures and consumer behaviour. She has also won awards for her executive leadership programmes.

“I am delighted that I have been selected to help refute the myth that there is a limited supply of willing and able women to take on Board roles in listed companies,” says Allyson.

*The Female FTSE Report, which includes a list of “100 Women to Watch” is co-authored by Dr Patricia Pryce of Cranfield International Centre for Women Leaders at Cranfield School of Management and Jacey Graham, Director, Brook Graham Diversity and Inclusion Consultants.

The authors have identified 100 women who are currently on the Executive Committees of FTSE 350 companies or in significant roles of other major institutions, who are ready for a board position and should be considered by search consultancies and nomination committees. Six of the women identified in the 2013 list have now gained a FTSE 350 board position.
