Miles is an independent management consultant within the asset management industry, advising clients on both business and sales strategy, talent development and retention.
He has enjoyed a long, successful career at the forefront of the Institutional Investment Management industry in the UK and abroad, with over 35 years of experience in a range of global investment management companies. His primary focus has been on international sales and client service functions.
Most recently, Miles was Head of the EMEA institutional business at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), where he was a member of the Global Management Committee and regional champion for their growing ESG capabilities. Before joining SSGA, Miles held similar roles at Schroder Investment Management, Barclays Global Investors (now Blackrock) and WorldInvest Management Ltd.
These senior management roles gave Miles experience in a variety of regulatory authorities and business environments in a personal and organisational capacity.
He has served on a variety of industry committees and is a keen advocate of developing integrated ESG principles within asset management firms.
