Luxury summit to focus on trading with America

Insights into US cultural differences that drive brand-building there will be the subject of leading marketer Allyson Stewart-Allen, CEO, International Marketing Partners, at this year’s Walpole Luxury Summit 2016.

Participants joining this luxury industry invitation-only event span a broad section of the sector, with panelists joining Allyson’s session as Chair including Anne-Marie Verdin, brand director at Mulberry and Victoria Christian, brand ambassador at Clive Christian.

“Examining the impact of cultural differences on successful expansions into the US will be our focus, including customer service and which aspects of Britishness resonate most there.  The typical British way of doing business may not actually be too effective” says Allyson.

Walpole Luxury Summit 2016: The Americas, in association with Covington, is being held on 30 June, BAFTA, Piccadilly, London.
