Lanie Denslow, Associate

Associate Lanie Denslow is the Founder and Principal of World Wise Intercultural Training and Resources.  She is also the Deputy Chief of Protocol, Silicon Valley and Chair of the San Francisco Advisory Board for the Global Chamber of Commerce

Lanie is an author, speaker and advisor on how culture shapes business practices and business protocol around the world. She is known for using humor and candor to help others grasp the complexity of today’s global business environment.

She is the co-author of Working with Americans (Routledge) and author of World Wise: What to Know Before You Go (Bloomsbury) both internationally recognized for their practical insights regarding how culture influences business.

Lanie has conducted seminars for global business leaders and organizations in the US, China, Germany, Russia, England and South Africa.  Having lived outside the United States and traveled extensively Lanie brings a deep personal understanding of the impact of culture, and cultural differences to her workshops, keynote speeches and individual training.

She previously served as the Director of International Affairs for The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and President of Protocol & Diplomacy International, a global organization of protocol professionals.

Lanie is a graduate of the Protocol School of Washington, holds a BSc degree from Antioch University, as well as a Master of International Business and an MBA from Pepperdine University.  She is based in Silicon Valley in California.
